MUNCH/WARHOL

This exhibition compare two print artist who are the most famous in 20th century.Exhibition start with intro Munch and Andy Warhol and then paintings of Munch and content of paintings , after it  exhibits Andy Warhol's illustrations about Munch's paintings and their differences about composition techniques.

FERHAN ŞENSOY- MASAL MÜFETTIŞI

 I went a play that Ferhan ŞENSOY wrote and play. Play critisize the regime of TURKEY and government humorous way, I really enjoyed the play.

GETTING STARTED TO FINAL ASSIGNMENT

BAROQUE MUSIC



   This assignment about baroque musical concepts and their correspondence in design . Ahmet KANNECI came first year design studio and discuss with us about arts and architecture and their relations.I learnt that anything in nature
related with each other by some basic rules in science, in arts or other parts of our life.These relations and rules are fundamental.In this sense sicence/ arts are always depend on each other and come together in architecture.Ahmet Kanneci also taught us themes in music and two dimensional designs , comtrasts (minor,major) , harmony  between elements in music,ryhthm between notes etc.
Then ı searched BAROQUE MUSIC and its unique features compared tp previous musical concepts, some of them ı try to explain to following:
     Contrast between groups are important,transitions between groups need to be specific and smooth,baroque music is based on tonality.

PARASITE

In this assignment , we were supposed to make parasites that can occupy space, so we were separated groups and then we choose particular place in our faculty building and we make small units and their variations of size to make growth in our design.We use 52 elements in our design.

      This assignment about to define voids and transitions between these voids.We were supposed to make two basal elements with using 15x15 cardboard.We need to make variations,repetitions between elements and groups either.Therefore I made two different basals ( one is rectangular,other one is triangular.) to make variations.I use 32 elements at my design an I made group A,B,C. Group A and group A come together and create bigger groups X,Y,Z.I use group A five times in my design.I use group C to identify group X,Y,Z, ı use group B to close my design and define biggest void inside.
